8 But if he be poorer than thy value, then he shall make himself stand before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the mouth of what the hand of him who vowed attained shall the priest value him.

Verse 8. But those who have no quality derived from truth are to be considered from their state of good, for good produces truths which express its quality; and according to truth from good with him who devotes himself to the Lord, is such a person to be estimated.
