1 Now Naboth the Jezreelite had a vine-garden in Jezreel, near the house of Ahab, king of Samaria.
Verse 1. When the corrupted spiritual church is consummated, the Lord, by an opening of the Word, thus by Revelation, establishes a new church, which, as to externals, resembles, in the beginning, the old church which preceded it.
