Verse 22. But by influx and consequent perception from celestial good in the church, it is now manifested that no such conjunction can exist: since self-love would then have dominion, this being prior, as to human experience; and, moreover, the result would be, that not only would self-love rule internally, but also corrupted celestial good, and falsified truth, inducing spiritual bondage, would govern externally.
