6 และพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าทรงกำหนดให้ต้นละหุ่งต้นหนึ่งงอกขึ้นมาเหนือโยนาห์ ให้เป็นที่กำบังศีรษะของท่าน เพื่อให้บรรเทาความร้อนรุ่มกลุ้มใจในเรื่องนี้ เพราะเหตุต้นละหุ่งต้นนี้โยนาห์จึงมีความยินดียิ่งนัก
