Liban si Caleb na anak ni Jephone; at siya ang makakakita; at sa kaniya ko ibibigay ang lupain na kaniyang tinuntungan, at sa kaniyang mga anak: sapagka't siya'y lubos na sumunod sa Panginoon.

Verse 36. Only those who are in good derived from such truths as they possess, these shall have a clear perception of good, and shall possess permanently all those holy states which they have patiently practised, and all things derived from such principles, because they bring out into the life the truths learned in the mind. [Note. Caleb afterwards dwelt in Hebron (see Numbers 14, 15), which signifies the spiritual Church. (See Arcana Coelestia 2909.)]
