Sprich zu Serubbabel, dem Statthalter Jehudahs, und sage: Ich lasse erbeben die Himmel und die Erde,
Haggai 2:21
This translation of the Bible was made by Leonhard Tafel, and published in 1911. Tafel was a leader of the Swedenborgian movement in Germany during the 1800's, and a leading Bible scholar. In this translation, Tafel followed the original Hebrew and Greek carefully, so as to preserve the inner layers of meaning that were explained in Swedenborg's exegetical works - also translated from Latin into German by Tafel and his sons.
