25 And the responsibility of the sons of Gershon in the tent of meeting was to be the tabernacle and the tent, its covering, and the screen for the door of the tent of meeting,

Verse 25. But the functions of this obscure good in the worship of the Lord and the work of salvation, are the preservation of the Word; of its genuine literal sense; of external worship thence, and of the doctrine concerning the Lord contained therein.
