20 So he said, Get me a new vessel, and put salt in it; and they took it to him.

Verse 20. On which account they learn from the Word, that they need a new form of doctrine, infilled with a new motive, which is the spiritual affection of truth, the desire of truth for good, or the desire of good for truth; and this they receive.
