Isahluko esandulele siqale ngokuguqulwa kwamanzi abe yiwayini. Njengoba uJesu eqhubeka nokuyala uNikodemu ngokuzalwa kabusha, uthi: “Ungamangali ngokuthi ngithi kuwe: Nimelwe ukuzalwa ngokusha. Umoya uphephetha lapho othanda khona, uyawuzwa umsindo wawo, kodwa awukwazi lapho uvela khona nalapho uya khona.”3:7-8).
UJesu useshilo kakade ukuthi ukuzalwa kabusha kuhilela ukuzalwa ngamanzi nomoya. Kafushane, ukuzalwa ngamanzi kuwukufunda iqiniso, futhi ukuzalwa ngomoya kuwukuphila ngokuvumelana nalelo qiniso.
